DOING IT OVER
Most Likely To Series, Book One
Montlake Romance, Contemporary

One small town. Three close friends. True love to last a lifetime.

Voted Most Likely to Succeed, Melanie Bartlett ended up anything but. The down-on-her-luck single mom wants a complete do-over—is that too much to ask? With her family long gone from River Bend, strong, independent Mel is as surprised as anyone to end up in the quaint small town she once called home. But with her friends, Jo and Zoe, by her side, and a comfortable room at Miss Gina’s quirky bed-and-breakfast, she just might have turned the corner on a new life.

Wyatt Gibson never liked the big city. River Bend suits the ruggedly handsome builder just fine. Wyatt knows he’s home, even if that means being charmed by the appearance of Melanie and her spunky, adorable daughter. Is Wyatt’s calm devotion—even amid a coming storm—enough to convince Mel she may have found a home to call her own, a family that never leaves, and a true love to last a lifetime?

My Review

It 's a sweet and romantic novel, really exciting with many twists and a little mystery, set in a small and cozy town with really amazing characters.
When she left her town and her best friends, Melanie hoped to succeed. Instead, ten years later, she returns home as a defeat for the meeting of classmates. Single mother, without work and without money. River Bend is the better place to start over and to offer a better future to her daughter. Here she has a job and the support of her best friends. Another reason to stay is Wyatt, a charming man, sexy, kind and full of patient. Melanie was hurt and disappointed by men, it will not be easy to get into her heart.
Melanie is a strong woman, despite many difficulties she has never given up, is very brave: it's not easy to return to a city where everyone knows  her and is quick to judge her failure. Hope is a sweet and smart little girl. Very nice also Miss Gina, the owner of B & B that welcomes Melanie and her child as a loving aunt. I really loved the relationship between Jo, Melanie and Zoe: they are great friends, even if they had not seen for many years is like if they had always been together.
I'm really happy to know that it is the first book in a new series, I can not wait to read the next chapter.
This is a wonderfully written contemporary romance which I enjoyed very much. This was a truly engaging and delightful read with a good pace.
I definitely recommend this one.
