My Review

I love ths paranormal romance, it was a fun read, full of suspense and humor with the perfect dose of romance.
Luanne is a witch, and it's not easy for her boyfriend sheriff accept it. Both moved to Banshee Creek to have a quiet life without dangers and forget their past but it is not so.
I really like this couple: they are two people with two completely different characters but the chemistry between them is truly magical. I also like Banshee Creek and its colorful inhabitants, it is a city in which I would like to live.
Although it is the second book in the series it is not necessary to have read the first book to fully enjoy this story.
It is addictive and a total page turner with so many twists, intrigues. This is such an enjoyable story, well written in an easy-to-read style which is just what I need at the end of a busy day.

About The Author

Ani Gonzalez: I write paranormal romantic comedy and cozy mystery (whew, that’s a mouthful!) set in Banshee Creek, Virginia, The Most Haunted Town in the USA. My books feature feisty funny heroines dealing with a host of paranormal critters (ghosts, cryptids, pagan gods…the sky’s the limit) and mysteries. They find magic, love and laughter and readers get to follow them every step of the way.
I love quirky towns with spooky stories, and, thanks to my books, I get to “live” in one year-around. In real life I live in a Minneapolis suburb (which is sadly lacking in ghosts) with my husband and three children and I’m still trying to adjust to the cold.

  1. I'm going to have to check out the first book in the series, it'd be nice to read a cozy mystery with a strong romance without the explicit sex, thanks for mentioning that. Not that that bothers me but sometimes I think it detracts from the story itself.
