My Review
It's a romance full of passion but also full of suspense, there are so many twists that keep the reader glued to the pages.
Chris hates Kevin, a rich man very despotic and unscrupulous that ruined and destroyed his mother's life. He has vowed to take revenge. With the help of his cousin he organized a perfect revenge to destroy him forever. If they can kidnap his stepdaughter Julia, to get her back he will lose all his money and even his wife, she is with him only for money. It will not be easy because he is hyper-protective of the girl and doesn't allow her to be alone without an escort. While trying to escape from her bodyguard she is kidnapped and handed to Chris as a birthday gift. But Chris has not planned to fall in love with that girl.
Some characters are lovable, others hateful, others change over the course of history. Julia is sweet, innocent and naive. At the beginning of the story I almost hated Chris, was a real bastard, especially how he behaved with Julia. But she was able to bring out the best of him. The chemistry between them are very strong.
The plot is really well built and unpredictable, this author has done a fabulous job of weaving together a fabulous story that kept me completely spellbound from the first page to the very last. Great debut for this author, I can not wait to read more.
